Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is a mercurial artist and songwriter who mixes soul gospel jazz and R&B in her signature blend. From Broadway to European music festivals and clubs the singer has done work everywhere. Sunshine's real her name as Denise White. Although she's located in Atlanta however, her ancestors are situated in Chester Pennsylvania. There she first began to develop as a musician, playing instruments and singing in church. After attending Spellman College, Atlanta she began her music career on the Atlanta's R&B entertainment scene. The Fighting Temptations The single which featured her vocals Stalk You A House 12 came out only in Japan. It has been remixed many times, and it's a major part of her live shows. Her voice is also included in the music video for The Fighting Temptations. Her role was as the primary keyboardist in Tyler Perry's musical Meet the Browns in 2005. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 about serving as the director of chorus for Dreamgirls which was a stage production in Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine earned national fame during her four daily performances in 2008 at the Democratic National Convention. She was later invited to sing during the President's 2008 inaugural.
