Jeanie Marie Buss was born in the United States. The current president is as well as the sole owner of the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss, a Californian native, grew up with an affluent life. Their father Jerry Buss was a real-estate tycoon who later became the manager of the Lakers and other sports businesses. After her parents divorced in 1972, she began to feel as if she was abandoned. Her family's business was started when she was 19 as general manager for the Los Angeles Strings tennis team. Later, she founded the Los Angeles Blades roller hockey professional team. The position she held was the president for Great Western Forum prior to being elected vice-president of the Lakers. Buss and her five sisters took over his Lakers majority ownership following the death of Bussher father in 2013. Every sister was given the same voice. In 2013, she took charge of Los Angeles Lakers.
