Born on November 25 1968 Jillian Noel Hennessy is a energetic Canadian actor and a singer who is renowned for her significant contribution for American television. She's famous for her outstanding performances on the American television series Law & Order where she was awe-inspiring for the viewers over three seasons as the prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan as the main character Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy has also demonstrated her acting prowess in movies like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and independent movies Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class, where she also flexed her writing and co-directing muscles. Hennessy began her career in the year 1988 with her sister in the role of twin call girls in Dead Ringers. In 1990, she briefly made an appearance as a guest on Broadway in the role of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. She then moved into science-fiction and was the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. The big break came at the end of 1993 after she was tapped as the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. As part of the show she was awe-inspiring to viewers throughout the three years that ended in 1996. Parker is a regular in a number of movies and television shows, such as RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys from the Side West Wing Angels and Angels in America. For these roles she received the Golden Globe Award in 2006 and an Emmy Award in 2007. Parker is also the recipient in 2001 of the Tony Award for Best Actress for the Broadway show Proof.
