Adrienne has been a famous American actress, author and horror film cult star. Starting out as a dancer she worked her way into fame as a character actress in feature films. She was best known for portraying the stubborn, determined Rizzo as part of the Broadway musical Grease. Her role being the sister of Bea Arthur in the sitcom on television Maude is also considered as one of her important works. In the wake of her husband's appearance in the commercially successful horror film Fog she was subsequently cast in a variety of sci-fi thrillers. Her comic performance in The Cannonball Run & Back to School were equally well received. Cat woman, for whom she voiced the Batman animated series, is another of her popular characters. For her second go in animation in which she voiced the evil character Helga von Guggen. She was also the author of three books as well as an autobiography titled There's nothing more that I can do.
